11 top scams, and...

...what to do about them.
Got this list from my aol account.
As my Momma used to tell me, "There's no such thing as a free lunch.", and, "If it looks too good to be true, it probably isn't."

A Small Thought

I got this one from my adopted Arkansas mountain Ma, Ma Curl.
I take PVC pipe, cut it in six inch lengths, either paint it, or use contact paper to decorate, and put it on those many cords that are on your appliances, extension cords,or other items that get tangled up in drawers and the like. I have one on all my kitchen appliances, like toaster, mixers, etc., also if you have a bunch, like those on the computer and TV, the excess can be folded up, then slide inside the PVC pipe. Of course, you want the pipe to be big enough around. ..Just one of the things I do. I used to use toilet paper rolls, putting contact paper on them, however, they wear out and are real flimsy, so, I changed to the pipe.
